Splashpower Ltd the Cambridge-based developers of a unique, wireless power technology today announces the ground breaking application of Splashpower™ technology in a concept car developed by Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC).

The car not only uses Splashpower™ technology, but also combines Bluetooth with Visteon Voice Technology™ to give drivers a totally wire-free in-car support system for a hand-held mobile phone.

Typically the size of a mouse mat, a SplashPad™ can simultaneously recharge a number of mobile devices simply by resting them on the pad. Splashpowers wireless power technology has been built directly into the centre console of a concept vehicle, demonstrating both the flexibility and true market-making potential of the innovation.
