MWg and Splashpower join forces to offer wirelessly powered Smartphones

Singapore based MWg and Splashpower announced today that they will collaborate to offer wirelessly powered Smartphones by mid-2008 Singapore, 29th January 2008 - MWg and Splashpower, a Cambridge based developer of wireless power technology, announced that they have signed an agreement which will enable MWg devices to be powered wirelessly.

From mid-2008, MWg devices will be equipped with Splashpower’s technology to enable inductive charging - where the electrical batteries of a handset are charged wirelessly using electromagnetic induction.
